TICKET911.CA – CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Client Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the provision of services by Ticket911.ca (“Ticket911”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to the client (“you” or “Client”).

By purchasing services, submitting your information, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.


1. Scope of Services

Ticket911.ca provides legal support services in connection with the contestation of traffic tickets and similar infractions. Upon acceptance of your file:

  • A lawyer will be assigned to your case;
  • Administrative and preparatory work may be performed by paralegals and support staff under supervision;
  • Services may include file review, plea entry, communications, and preparation for court proceedings.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, your package does not include :

  • Trial representation;
  • Postponements;
  • Appeals, reopening of files, or extraordinary remedies;
  • Additional court attendances beyond the initial mandate.

Any such services may be subject to additional fees , which will be communicated to you in advance.


2. Submission of Documents

You must provide a copy of your statement of offence and driver’s licence as soon as possible via:

  • Email; or
  • Upload through your secure client profile/portal.

You agree to retain all original documents. Ticket911.ca is not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incomplete, illegible, or late document submission.


3. Client Obligations and Cooperation

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times;
  • Promptly upload or forward any notice, hearing date, or correspondence received;
  • Notify Ticket911.ca of any hearing date at least 30 days prior , where possible;
  • Maintain up-to-date contact information, including email and phone number;
  • Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe.

Failure to comply with these obligations may negatively impact your case. Ticket911.ca shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information.


4. Hearing Notices and Timing

Once a not guilty plea is entered, the time to receive a hearing date may vary significantly by jurisdiction and may take up to one (1) year or longer.

You acknowledge that:

  • Ticket911.ca may not receive all court notices directly;
  • You are responsible for forwarding any notices you receive without delay.

Where a hearing date is received less than 30 days in advance , or where you retain Ticket911.ca with less than 30 days before a scheduled hearing, additional fees may apply (see Section 6).


5. Lawyer Communication

A lawyer will contact you approximately one (1) week prior to your scheduled trial or hearing date to discuss your case and available options.

In certain cases, earlier or additional communication may occur where required.


6. Fees and Urgent File Surcharge

6.1 Standard Fees

Fees for services are as indicated at the time of purchase and are subject to applicable taxes.

6.2 Urgent File Surcharge

Where:

  • Ticket911.ca is retained less than thirty (30) days prior to a scheduled hearing or trial date; or
  • A hearing date is scheduled with less than thirty (30) days’ notice;

the applicable package fee shall be subject to an urgent file surcharge , which may include doubling of the standard package fee , due to the expedited work, prioritization, and administrative burden required.

6.3 Additional Services

The following are not included in standard packages and will incur additional fees:

  • Postponements (including requests and related administrative work);
  • Trial representation (where not included);
  • Additional court appearances;
  • File reopening or rectification;
  • Any services beyond the original mandate.

All such fees will be discussed prior to being incurred where reasonably possible.


7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your purchase within ten (10) days of the purchase date, subject to:

  • An administrative fee of $125 plus applicable taxes ; and
  • Provided that no work has been performed on your file.

Where work has already been performed, fees will be charged based on time spent at the following rates:

  • Paralegals: $100/hour
  • Lawyers: $200–$300/hour (depending on experience)

After ten (10) days, cancellation may still be possible, but all work performed up to the date of cancellation will be billed accordingly.


8. No Guarantee of Outcome

Ticket911.ca makes no guarantees or representations regarding the outcome of your case.

Specifically, we do not guarantee:

  • Withdrawal of charges;
  • Reduction of fines;
  • Avoidance of demerit points;
  • Acquittal or dismissal;
  • Any specific result.

Outcomes depend on numerous factors outside our control, including evidence, court decisions, and applicable laws.


9. Satisfaction Guarantee

Where applicable, Ticket911.ca may offer a satisfaction guarantee as described on our website.

Such guarantee:

  • Is subject to the specific terms, conditions, and limitations published on our website at the time of purchase;
  • Does not constitute a guarantee of legal outcome;
  • May be conditional on client cooperation and compliance with this Agreement.

In the event of any inconsistency, the specific terms of the satisfaction guarantee shall apply only to the extent expressly stated.


10. Online Purchase and Payment

By purchasing services online, you:

  • Authorize Ticket911.ca to charge the fees indicated at checkout;
  • Agree that payment is due immediately unless otherwise stated;
  • Acknowledge that work may begin upon purchase.

You agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks. Any disputed amounts may be pursued through legal means.


You consent to receive communications from Ticket911.ca via:

  • Email;
  • Telephone;
  • SMS (where applicable);
  • Secure client portal.

You agree that:

  • Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice;
  • Documents delivered electronically are deemed received when sent;
  • You are responsible for monitoring your email (including spam/junk folders) and client portal.

12. Use of Technology and AI Assistance

Ticket911.ca may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence tools , to assist in:

  • Call triage;
  • Client intake;
  • Administrative processing;
  • Preliminary information handling.

These tools are used to improve efficiency and responsiveness. All legal decisions and representation are conducted by qualified professionals.

By using our services, you consent to such use of technology.


13. Termination of Services

Ticket911.ca reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where:

  • You fail to cooperate or provide required information;
  • You provide false or misleading information;
  • Fees remain unpaid;
  • A conflict or professional issue arises;
  • The matter falls outside the agreed scope.

In such cases, you remain responsible for all fees incurred up to the date of termination.


14. Limitation of Liability

Ticket911.ca shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by courts, government authorities, or third parties;
  • Lost or delayed mail or electronic communications;
  • Outcomes resulting from client inaction or late submissions;
  • Technical issues affecting email, portals, or communication systems.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the services in question.


15. Privacy and Electronic File Handling

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your information may be stored and transmitted electronically;
  • Reasonable safeguards are used to protect your data;
  • No system is entirely secure, and Ticket911.ca cannot guarantee absolute security.

By submitting documents electronically, you accept these risks.


16. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec.


17. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior communications or understandings.

No verbal or written statements not expressly included herein shall have any force or effect.


18. Language

The parties have expressly required that this Agreement be drawn up in the English language.

19. Acceptance

By purchasing services or proceeding with Ticket911.ca, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
